Your unique offer using main keywords for search engines.
A tagline can go here. Or you can write your location or say “All available online.”
A high-level client-centered statement goes here.
This is the start of your home page where you engage your audience broadly, but enough so that they click for more details. Here are the keys:
Address their core struggles, and offer hope
Don’t promise results (because that’s not ethical)
Speak directly to your ideal client by doing the following:
Use “You” statements instead of “I” statements or passive language (e.g. instead of “people who feel…” say “you feel”)
Write the way you would speak to your clients (aka, intelligently, but not academic or clinical language)
Here is where you put a short blurb to introduce yourself to your reader.
This statement should remain client-centered and offer hope. E.g. “If you are _______ (client experience that they want to change) I want you to know there is hope, and you don’t have to do this alone. I have helped many clients ______ (the thing your client wants to work through or overcome) and live lives that are ______ (the life your ideal client wants).”
Note: you should put a photo of you here ->
Services
Service one header.
The above can be a lead-in statement or question for this section or simply a title (e.g. Individual Therapy), try to use keywords that you want to show up in search engines.
Remember, you will have room on the Service One page to say more, so you just want to say enough to have them feel interested in reading more. This section should focus on the specific concerns your ideal client faces.
Click here for some examples of how to be specific.
Service two header (or telehealth statement if using).
Using the guidelines from the previous section, talk about your second service (e.g. couples therapy, grief work, family therapy, etc.)
If you don’t have a second service, this section could also be your COVID-19 & Telehealth info section. You have several options about how you can address that on your site (but bottom line, you should). Find my notes about the pandemic and telehealth here.

“A favorite quote of yours that speaks to your beliefs about change or is on theme for the work you do.”

Here is where you will put your “call-to-action”.
A simple statement that tells the reader what you’d like them to do. If you’d like to see some examples, I put several on this page.
