ONLINE EMDR THERAPY FOR TRAUMA | VIRTUALLY ACROSS TEXAS, FLORIDA, IDAHO & VERMONT
Let go of shame and unlock your freedom with EMDR therapy
You don’t have to feel “stuck” anymore.
You may look fine on the outside. You’ve held it together for years, maybe even decades. But inside, you’re tired. Worn out from holding your breath through triggers, overthinking every interaction, battling anxiety, or fighting off unexpected waves of sadness or shame that make no sense at all.
Maybe you’ve tried to talk it through. You’ve read books, listened to podcasts, journaled, prayed, gone to therapy… and still, something feels stuck. You know what happened “wasn’t your fault,” but it lives in your body like it happened yesterday.
And deep down, you’re wondering:
Is this just how I’ll always feel?
I’m here to tell you, it doesn’t have to be. You can heal. Not just cope better, but actually heal. And I’d be honored to walk with you.
What Is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-backed, evidenced-based structured therapy that helps people heal from traumatic experiences and deeply rooted emotional wounds. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR works directly with the brain’s natural healing processes, often bringing relief faster and more completely.
Here’s what makes EMDR powerful:
It helps you process memories that got “stuck” or frozen in time.
It gently activates your brain’s innate ability to heal, reprocess, and resolve.
It bypasses the need to retell every detail of your trauma out loud.
Using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements, tapping, and audio), EMDR helps the brain safely revisit past events, shift how they're stored, and reduce the emotional charge they carry.
Trauma doesn’t get erased, but it loses its grip on your present.
How Online EMDR Helps
EMDR is widely known for treating PTSD and Trauma, but its effectiveness goes far beyond that. It can be used to heal emotional wounds and physiological stress responses related to:
Panic attacks and chronic anxiety
Childhood emotional neglect
Attachment wounds or unmet needs from early caregivers
Car accidents or medical trauma
Sexual, emotional, verbal or physical abuse
Breakups, divorce, betrayal, or relational trauma
Performance anxiety or fear of failure
Grief and unresolved loss
Religious trauma or spiritual abuse
Nightmares, flashbacks, or overreactions that feel out of your control
Bullying or public humiliation
Chronic pain and body tension
Life transitions and adjustments
Racial Trauma and Mircoaggressions
You do not need a diagnosis of PTSD to benefit from EMDR. If you’ve ever had an experience that felt overwhelming, and you haven’t been the same since, EMDR can help.
What Makes EMDR Different From Talk Therapy?
Traditional therapy focuses on insight, reflection, and conversation. EMDR goes deeper, addressing what your nervous system and subconscious mind have held onto, even when your rational mind knows better.
You don’t need to retell every detail of what happened
You don’t need to stay stuck in analysis
You don’t need to rely solely on coping skills to get through the day
Instead, EMDR helps you access the parts of your brain where traumatic memories were “stuck” and gives them the chance to finally move forward. It gives your body permission to let go of survival mode, so you can experience calm, clarity, and connection again.

The 8 Phases of EMDR Therapy
-
We begin with an in-depth understanding of your background, symptoms, and goals. We identify target memories or patterns and assess readiness for reprocessing.
-
You learn grounding tools, emotional regulation skills, and how EMDR works. This phase is all about building safety and trust in the process and in our work together.
-
We choose a target memory and identify the associated negative belief, emotions, body sensations, and desired belief you want to hold instead. This gives the reprocessing direction.
-
Using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, audio, etc.), we help your brain begin to reprocess the memory. The emotional intensity and physical distress gradually decrease.
-
Once the distress subsides, we strengthen a new, positive belief to replace the old negative one. This helps solidify healing and create new neural pathways.
-
We check to see if any physical tension or disturbance remains. The body stores trauma, and we want the body to feel the shift just as much as the mind.
-
Each session ends with a return to emotional regulation. Whether processing is complete or ongoing, we always close with safety and grounding.
