Online Therapy in Idaho
Compassionate online counseling for anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, and life transitions.
Life in Idaho has its own unique challenges. You may feel pressure from work, school, or family while trying to balance everything on your plate. Living in a smaller community can sometimes feel isolating, and even in larger cities like Boise or Coeur d’Alene, it may be difficult to find the right kind of support. Maybe you have been carrying anxiety, depression, or trauma silently, unsure of where to turn. Or perhaps you are struggling in your relationship, navigating a major life transition, or feeling weighed down by stress you cannot seem to shake.
If this sounds like you, you are not alone. Many people in Idaho are searching for a safe, judgment-free space to talk through what they are experiencing. Online therapy can give you the support you need without having to travel or rearrange your entire day. With just a secure video session, you can meet with a professional licensed therapist right from the comfort of your home.
Everyday Struggles You May Relate To
Every person’s story is different, but here are some challenges that may sound familiar:
Feeling overwhelmed by stress, burnout, or constant pressure to “hold it all together.”
Struggling with anxiety that makes it hard to relax, sleep, or focus.
Battling depression that leaves you feeling drained or disconnected from life.
Carrying unresolved trauma or painful memories that still impact you today.
Working through grief, loss, or big life transitions that leave you feeling unsteady.
Experiencing relationship challenges, whether in dating, marriage, or family dynamics.
Feeling isolated in rural or small-town settings with limited access to in-person care.
These struggles can feel heavy, but therapy offers a space where you do not have to face them alone.

A safe space to share your story without judgment.

Yes. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and many other concerns. Many clients find that the convenience of virtual sessions actually helps them stay consistent with therapy. Online therapy allows you to access professional support from the comfort of your home, office, or any private space, making it easier to integrate care into your busy Idaho lifestyle.

Absolutely. I provide EMDR therapy for trauma and somatic therapy to help release stress and body-held tension. These approaches are fully adaptable to a secure online environment, allowing you to process difficult experiences safely. For EMDR sessions, you will need a laptop or desktop computer and headphones to ensure the best experience. Using these methods virtually, we can work together on both emotional and physical aspects of trauma and burnout, helping you feel grounded, supported, and empowered.

All online sessions use HIPAA-compliant platforms, ensuring that your conversations remain completely confidential and secure. You can trust that your privacy is protected, and sessions are conducted in a way that prioritizes your safety and comfort.

At this time, I do not accept insurance for clients in Idaho. I provide private pay online therapy, with rates of $130 per individual session and $160 per couples session.
While I am private pay only, many clients find this approach beneficial because it offers greater privacy, flexibility, and freedom in our work together without being limited by insurance requirements or a diagnosis. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
My goal is to make therapy a safe, supportive, and worthwhile investment in your healing and growth.

Many clients are new to online therapy, and it is normal to feel unsure or hesitant at first. I will guide you through the process step by step to ensure you feel comfortable and confident with the technology and the session structure. Online therapy is designed to be easy to use, private, and secure, so you can focus on your healing rather than the technical details. During your consultation or your first session, we will review how sessions work, discuss your goals, and make sure the format feels right for you. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and explore whether virtual therapy fits your needs before committing to regular sessions.
